Starting up a business is far from easy….there is just so much to think about. Not least how you are going to get your business noticed.
Businesses in a start up situation usually need a logo, business cards, letterhead, envelopes, web site and a leaflet/brochure.
Some Points to take into account when starting a business;
Chose a Business Name:
At the outset, you should decide what to call your business. It may be your own name, especially if you are a sole trader, eg 'Bill Bl... [Read More]

Search Engine Relevancy:
Many people think search engines have a hidden agenda, or that they just do not like them. This simply is not true. The goal of the search engine is to provide high quality content to people searching the internet.
Search engines with the broadest distribution network sell the most advertising space. As I write this, Yahoo! and Google are considered the search engines with the best relevancy. Their technologies power the bulk of web search.

This is a little factor similar to the "wow factor" but goes even further! Instead of just the ordinary "WOW" what I aim for is an "WOWZERS!!!" factor, its just a few steps above and beyond getting that wow factor and its what separates me from my competitors imo.
To get the WOWZERS factor to work for you, you'll need to build a safe environment that the potential buyer feels warm, welcome and safe in. Ask them a bunch of basic questions you know your target... [Read More]

Recent victories thread |
Okay, this is a happy moment.
I fixed the washing machine. I tried this a few weeks back and nothing worked right then (got it working though), but today the thing just fell apart again. I popped open the front cover, the motor was (this time) easy to remove, I super-glued the bottom pulley back together, and it was running again in 30 minutes. The squeak and rattle are gone. And it looks like this time they'll stay gone!
What's your recent victory?

final argument against Obama |
Do you think that Obama is going to win because the Republicans have such a bad candidate?
Why did John McCain make his final argument against Obama... coal?
That's his closing argument? William Ayers, Rev. Wright, spreading the wealth, Born Alive, meeting dictators without preconditions, etc. all have to take a back seat so that McCain can go to Colorado and New Mexico to talk about coal? Does this more or less explain why he's going to get his clock cleaned Tuesday?
